    [UNC Migration/Education] Privacy Protection Policy 

     

    UNC Migration/Education Services Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as UNC) consider users personal information as important and we adhere to the “Privacy Act”. UNC inform users that the personal information you provide being used for any purpose and manner throughout the Privacy Policy and what measures are being taken to protect your privacy. 

    UNC’s Privacy Protection Policy services are subject to change according to the change of government laws and regulations and modification will be notified to users on the public bulletin board of UNC’s webpage. Therefore, please check back often for any privacy policy modification. 

     

    UNC’s Privacy Policy contains the following information:

    1. Personal information items to be collected

    2. Method of collection and use of collected personal information

    3. Retention of collection and the period of utilization

    4. Sharing and provision of collected personal information

    5. Modification and method of notification of Privacy Protection Policy

    1. Personal information items to be collected

    UNC will collect a minimum of personal information described at below to offer a various services and consultations for migration and education services on behalf of our users. 

    Items to be collected

       -Name

       -Date of birth

       -Address

       -Email

       -Telephone number

       -SNS ID

       -Payment method information 

     

    2.  Method of collection and use of collected personal information

    UNC utilizes collected personal information for the following. All collected personal information will not be used for any other purposes other than purposes as below. If the modification of purpose occurs, we will ask user’s permission in advance. 

    A. Provision of Services

    UNC will obtain consent from the users, if the Company desires to use the information other than those expressly stated in this Policy.  UNC collect user’s personal information with a purpose to offer better services.

    UNC’s official seminar announcements, various events, newsletters, visa related services, application services, tuition fee transfer services, flight ticket purchases, early settlement services, users inquiry and responses through SMS & Social networks, directions guide services, use at marketing and advertising. 

     

    3. Retention of collection and the period of utilization

     

    UNC will destroy collected personal information from users without any delay once the purpose has achieved. However, information as below will be preserved for following reasons for specified periods. 

    -Name, Email, Phone number

    Reasons for retention: Usage for notification of updated recent information and marketing and advertising

    Periods of retention: 1 year

     In principle, UNC destructs personal information of users without delay when: the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved, UNC will retain user’s information for certain period as designated by relevant laws and regulations. The information to be retained as required by relevant laws and regulations are as follows: 

     

    Record regarding contract or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) 

    Record on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) 

    Record on collection/process, and use of credit information: 5 years (The Act on Use and Protection of Credit Information) 

    Record on consumer complaint or dispute treatment: 3 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) 

    Log record of users such as internet/data detecting the place of user connection: 3 months(The Protection of Communications Secrets Act) 

    Other data for checking communication facts: 12 months (The Protection of Communications Secrets Act) 

     

    -Marketing

     

    UNC will not use any collected personal information of users other than specified purposes as above. UNC do not require users to provide us any information that might be a violation of the basic human rights such as race, ethnicity, ideology, place of birth, political affiliation and criminal records, etc.

     

    4. Sharing and provision of collected personal information

    UNC agrees that it will only obtain minimum consent from its users to improve a quality of services provided. UNC will seek for permission if collected personal information has to be provided to a 3rd party, we will inform users in advance. 

     Collected personal information could be provided to a 3rd party until the date when the purpose of use is achieved or period as required by laws. Following 3rd party could be changed according to service contracts with UNC, users need to chase-up with recent changes on the website. 

    -3rd party that will receive user’s collected information: Bank, Travel agency, Local agencies

    -Items of personal information that will be provided: Name, Phone number, Address, E-mail, SNS ID

    -Technical measures to protect personal information:

    User’s personal information that was collected for consultation will be encrypted and stored in DB and it will be destroyed within 1 year and if user agrees, it can be in retention for more periods under mutual agreement from both parties. 

     

    Protection of personal information of children under 13

    In principle, UNC does not collect any personal information of children under 13 or equivalent minimum age as prescribed in the laws in relevant jurisdiction. If UNC collects any personal information from children under 13 for the services for unavoidable reason, UNC will go through the additional procedure for protecting that personal information of children. UNC will obtain consent from the parents or guardian of children so as to collect personal information of children or directly send the information of services.

    5. Modification and method of notification of Privacy Protection Policy 

    A. If UNC have to use collected personal information from users out of agreed boundary, UNC will notify users through written mails, email and phone calls to obtain further agreement to offer user’s information to a 3rd party. 

    B. UNC will obtain an agreement from users if we consign to a 3rd party for collection, retention, process, usage and destruction of user’s personal information through terms of services and privacy protection policy specified on UNC’s webpage. 

    C. UNC will notify users through written methods and E-mail individually when the services of UNC’s transfer or merging occurs. The change will be notified on UNC’S webpage for more than 30days. 

     

    6. Technical, managerial and physical measures for protection of personal information 

    A. UNC has methods and countermeasure for Privacy Protection Policy and it is being applied currently. 

    B.  Technical Measures

    In order to prevent the loss, theft, leakage, alteration or damage of collected personal information of the users, UNC takes technical, managerial and physical counter methods for securing safety as follows:

    1) User’s personal information will be protected with password and important data will be transmitted through encryption methods or file lock methods. 

    2) UNC will use anti-virus program to prevent any damages for loss of collected personal information. 

    3) UNC uses measures of encryption such as SSL or SET for confidential information so it can be transmitted through networks. 

    4) UNC will do the best to prevent hacking by using anti-hacking and shutdown system per server. 

    C. Managerial Measures 

    1) UNC will limit the number of personal who can access to collected personal information as follows:

    -Appointed marketing team members who have direct connections with users

    -The person who is in charge of Privacy Protection Policy

    -The person who has unavoidable reasons to complete their tasks without accessing to user’s personal information.  

    2) UNC establishes and executes internal management plan and provide education and training to staffs treating user’s collected personal information. 

    3) UNC will do their best to protect user’s collected personal information. Any responsible members who left the company need to make sure that they have secured with proper measures when take-over of the position happens. 

    4) DB and data storage room needs special control access to get in. 

    5) UNC will point special staffs who have privileged access to private information given representative identification (ID) and password and it will be updated on regular basis.

    6) UNC will ask new employers to sign a privacy pledge to prevent pre-information leaks for user’s collected personal information. 

    7) UNC will verify your identity before gathering customer’s credit card numbers, bank account etc. in order to enter into a service contract or provide services. 

    8) UNC is not responsible for user’s personal mistakes or risk based on internet. Users must manager their own identity (ID) and password at all time to protect their own personal information. 

    9) Users need to not to use predictable and easy password. Also users must update and change their password on regular basis.

    10) Users must sign-out when they sign-in on shared networks or computers. Unless user’s personal information such as identity (ID) or passwords can easily be leaked to others. 

    11) UNC will take immediate actions to provide appropriate compensation measures to users if loss and leakage of personal information occurs such as mistakes or accidents on the technical management of the internal administrator.

    A. UNC considers user’s opinion very importantly and any inquiries will be answered with precise

    8. Staff responsible for managing personal information 

    A, UNC protect user’s personal information very seriously and thoughtfully and try our best not to cause any damage, loss or leakage of collected personal information. However, even though UNC set up technical protection for protection, if any unexpected circumstances happen such as hacking or risk of networks, UNC is not responsible for damage, loss or leakage of personal information. Also, UNS is not responsible for any disputes happened due to user’s own written post on the webpage.

     9. Transmission of promotional information

    UNC will not send advertising information for commercial purposes which are contrary to user’s unsubscribed agreement. 

     

    10. Duty of notification

    Current Privacy Protection Policy was enacted on 15th May, 2015 and any important changes will be notified via the “notice” section of the webpage on UNC.  General information will be amended at least 7 days before if any government policy or change of security technologies is required to be revised.

    Any e-mail addresses posted on webpage cannot be collected via automatic e-mail collecting program or any other technical devices.  

    If you violate these rules, criminal penalties can occur under Privacy Protection Policy.
